In this new patch is also a map named “Wallendar, Germany” which is the original version of the ‘Rhine village’ in the mappack.
Now this map conflict with the original map so delete the mappack file “zzz_map_pack1.iwd” in your “activision/call of duty 2/main” folder and install the patch and you are good to go.
